The idea for Bonafide came about in early 2009 in Nashville, TN. Like most families with small children, my wife and I found ourselves striving to provide our girls with natural, high quality, wholesome foods. While taking a proactive view to our girls' health, we also realized our dog, a beautiful black Lab named Brady, deserved the same attention to nutrition. With the help of great friends and a few experts, Bonafide was created on the philosophy that our dogs meals should be no less superior than our children's meals. After all, Brady is a member of our family.
As a family, we believe our goals should extend to more than just serving ourselves. As a company, we believe the same. From the beginning we set out to make Bonafide more than just a company serving its' customers and their dogs. We created our Bonafide Partner Program to help us do just that.
The Bonafide Partner Program hopes to support approved shelters and rescues provide safe and responsible care for homeless, abandoned, and abused animals. While in the program, shelters, rescues and foster families will qualify for discounts on food purchases and our companys committment of support.
